On the occasion of the 2025 Christmas festivities and the closing of the Jubilee Year, the Postal and Philatelic Service of the Governorate of the Vatican City State has issued the customary philatelic series dedicated to the Nativity.

Archbishop Emilio Nappa, Secretary General of the Governorate of Vatican City State, presided over Holy Mass in memory of the faithful departed of the Directorate of Infrastructure and Services. The rite was celebrated on Monday morning, 10 November, in the Chapel of Saint Egidio, located within the premises of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary.

The Band of the Vatican Gendarmerie Corps and the Band of the Rome Capital Police performed together in a concert held in the Braccio Nuovo of the Vatican Museums. The event took place on Friday afternoon, 7 November, as part of the series “Music at the Museums – Jubilee 2025”, organized in collaboration between the Directorate of Museums and Cultural Heritage and the Italian National Music Committee (CIDIM).

On Friday, October 31, as part of the Jubilee celebrations, the Vatican Observatory, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University and the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), presented two special events dedicated to the beauty and mystery of the universe.
