Directorates

1. In performing their institutional activities, according to their respective competences, the Directorates cooperate with the President, the General Secretary and the Vice General Secretary also in the areas mentioned in article 1 of the current Law.

2. The Directorates implement the directives of the Bodies of Government and perform their functions in accordance with the laws, regulations and with general and particular provisions.

3. In pursuing their assigned objectives, the Directorates guarantee effectiveness and efficiency in performing administrative activities and in the production and provision of goods and services.

4. The President can assign additional tasks to the Directorates for a fixed period of time, with the aim of pursuing specific goals. To this end, the President can establish a joint operating unit with other Directorates.

5. The internal structure and functions of the Directorates are subject to Regulations.
