Inaugurated at the Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo the exhibition dedicated to El Greco

Two masterpieces in comparison

“These are works by the great Cretan master El Greco, an unconventional, irregular and pioneering artist who, from his native Candia—where he trained as an icon painter within the Byzantine tradition—first moved to Venice, where he absorbed the light and color of the painting of Titian and Tintoretto, and then to Rome, where he was called to confront the great masters Raphael and Michelangelo, whom he nevertheless struggled to appreciate.”

Mercedes-Benz Vans Italy Partners with the Sustainability Plan of the Vatican Governorate

The Vatican City State, implementing the principles of the Encyclical Laudato Si’ and the Apostolic Exhortation Laudate Deum, continues to develop projects and solutions that concretely contribute to reducing environmental impact. Mobility is a central element of this commitment and, for this reason, when renewing its commercial vehicle fleet, the State has chosen the 100% electric solutions offered by Mercedes-Benz Vans. Three eVito Tourer models and two EQV vehicles are thus joining the Vatican motor vehicle fleet, renewing the relationship of trust that has linked the Vatican and the Stuttgart-based company for almost one hundred years.
