« Pourquoi restez-vous là à regarder vers le ciel ? » (Ac 1, 11). Tel était le thème de la conférence qui s’est tenue dans l’après-midi du mardi 28 octobre, dans les locaux de l’Ambassade d’Espagne près le Saint-Siège à Rome.

At the service of faith and science

“Why do you stand looking at the sky?” (Acts 1:11). This was the theme of the conference held on Tuesday afternoon, 28 October, at the Embassy of Spain to the Holy See in Rome.

On October 8 and 9, the conference “Ital_IA – Between Public Data and Algorithms” was held in the Carassa-Dadda Auditorium of the University Politecnico di Milano. The event was promoted by the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency and Sogei (General Information Technology Company), with the scientific contribution of the Politecnico di Milano. It consisted of two days of discussion dedicated to the role of Artificial Intelligence and public data in decision-making processes and in services for citizens and institutions.

Saint Rose of Lima “forever young” at the heart of the Church 

“Rose is the forever young Saint, the one who has inspired sympathy and empathy in millions of faithful not only in Peru, but throughout the entire New World; everywhere her example and her renown are widespread.” These were the words of Sr. Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate of Vatican City State, during the conference entitled “Saint Rose of Lima, the First Saint of the New World: Contemporary Reflections,” held on Tuesday afternoon, January 27, in the Aula Magna of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
