Inauguration of a new over-the-counter pharmacy in the Charlemagne Wing of Saint Peter’s Square

Brother Thomas Binish Mulackal, of the Fatebenefratelli Order (Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God), inaugurated an over-the-counter pharmacy in the Charlemagne Wing of Saint Peter’s Square on Monday morning, 16 December. Fr. Iulian Misariu, OFM Conv., Chaplain, blessed the premises for the occasion.

The inauguration of the pharmacy was also attended by members of the Fatebenefratelli community in the Vatican, and by employees of the Vatican Pharmacy. The new site will provide a priceless service to visitors and pilgrims who will visit the Vatican during the Jubilee Year. Just like the Vatican Pharmacy, the over-the-counter pharmacy is inspired by the charism of hospitality, welcome and care of Saint John of God.
