Donated to Pope Leo XIV: a BMW iX 60

The BMW Group has donated a BMW iX60 to the Holy Father.

The donation ceremony was carried out in the presence of His Holiness, by Oliver Zipse, CEO of BMW AG, and Massimiliano Di Silvestre, President and CEO of BMW Italia S.p.A.

Also present, representing the Munich-based company, were Bernhard Kuhnt, Head of Region Europe and Maximilian Schoeberl, Executive Vice President for Communication, Politics and Corporate Affairs at BMW AG.

Massimiliano Di Silvestre stated: “We had the privilege of donating a BMW iX60 to Pope Leo XIV because it reflects our approach to sustainability and the protection of the planet—issues we know are very important to the Holy Father and in which we deeply believe.”
