Institutional Visit of the CEO of Poste Albania to Vatican City
On Wednesday, March 25, a delegation led by the CEO of Poste Albania, Etien Xhafaj, visited the headquarters of Vatican Post, where they were welcomed by the Director of Telecommunications and Information Systems, Antonino Intersimone, and the Head of the Postal and Philatelic Service, Rev. Felice Bruno.
The meeting opened with an institutional greeting, followed by a presentation on the history, functions, and main activities carried out by the Vatican Postal and Philatelic Service, with particular focus on its role within the context of the Vatican City State.
Subsequently, the delegation took part in a tour of the building and its various operational offices, gaining direct insight into the organization and working processes of the Vatican postal service.
At the end of the visit, the Head of Postal services, Don Bruno, accompanied the guests on a tour of St. Peter’s Basilica and the new mobile post office located in St. Peter’s Square.
The visit took place in a spirit of cordiality and mutual interest, laying the groundwork for the development of future collaboration between the two institutions.
