Commemorative envelopes

  

Commemorative envelopes are issued only on special occasions.

 

Terms and conditions of purchase

Commemorative envelopes may be purchased by sending an order to the Post and Philately Service, accompanied by payment in the form of:

  • Non-transferable bank cheque made out to: Poste e Filatelia – Governorate – 00120 Vatican City;
  • Bank transfer to: Governatorato dello Stato della Città del Vaticano (IBAN IT84 X020 0805 0080 0010 3184 313 – SWIFT UNCRITM1B88), indicating as reason for payment, “Poste e Filatelia”

Deliveries are made twice a year, in June and December, depending on the issue dates of the philatelic series.

 

The envelopes will be sent in the following ways:

  • for orders that have a value of 25-50 euro: by registered mail at the expense of the Post and Philately Service;
  • for orders above 50 euro: by insured post (only to countries that have the service) with expenses paid by the Post and Philately Service;
  • for orders that have a value of below 25 euro: by registered mail at the expense of the customer (1.50 euro for Italy; 2 euro for the rest of the world)
