Taxe-Perçue is designed for customers who send large quantities of mail.

Details of the Service

Taxe-Perçue allows customers to avoid complex procedures when sending periodic mail and messages, postal packages, catalogues, brochures and general mail and offers discounts. Moreover, there is no need to stamp the items.

 

Terms and conditions

To use the service:

  • visit the Central Post Office of the Post and Philately Service with the itemized list of contents (forms are available at the Post and Philately Service or can be downloaded from this page or the “Forms” section of the website);
  • the parcel must contain at least 500 items;
  • each parcel must have the same sender’s name on each individual item, in printed or handwritten form;
  • All parcels must have the same weight, format and content.
  • A sample of the sent items will be given to the Post and Philately Service for records purposes.

Preparing the Parcels
  • The items to be sent can be in sealed envelopes, in unsealed envelopes or in a parcel.
  • Parcels containing small quantities of goods must be accompanied by a CN 22 form (which can be filled online with the form in the “Forms” section of the website) and must include the words “petit paquet” on it.
  • It is mandatory to separate the items according to country of destination.
  • Cylindrical packages are accepted.
Weight and Formats

The sum of the three dimensions must never exceed 900 mm.

 

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE SENT
  • objects weighing more than 2,000 grams;
  • books;
  • obscene or immoral objects;
  • objects whose import or circulation is banned in the country of destination;
  • narcotic and psychotropic drugs;
  • all objects banned by Vatican and international laws

* Deliveries of more than 3,000 items

Deliveries of more than 3,000 items can request further allowances to the Directorate of Post and Philately Service by using the form in the “Forms” section.
