Opening of the official Instagram account of the Governorate

The Governatorate of the Vatican City State, faced with the changed habits in the field of information in recent years, modernizes and digitises its communication.

This includes the opening of an Instagram Governatorato_SCV account.

The account will mainly report on the activities of the governing bodies, namely the President, the Secretary General and the Vice-Secretary General, and each Directorate. The main information will be transmitted through audiovisual media.

The creation of the account has as objective to reach people and organizations that inform themselves mainly through social networks and to strengthen the wide-ranging communication to make more known the reality of the Governorate. 

Communication in traditional media and public relations activities (press releases, articles and institutional website www.vaticanstate.va) will as always be of central importance: it will not be replaced but completed.
