The Governorate launches its new website in three languages and a quarterly newsletter

The Governorate of Vatican City State is committed to the promotion of institutional communication.

The launch of the new website, www.vaticanstate.va, and the creation of an online quarterly magazine, titled, “From the heart of the State – The Governorate shares its news”, are part of this commitment.

As of 13 September, the new website, www.vaticanstate.va, will be available in three languages (Italian, English and Spanish). A French version will subsequently be available. The aim of the endeavour is to a provide better information on the Governorate and in particular, on the activities carried out by the President, the General Secretary and the various Directorates.

At the same time as this update, the content has been optimised, a new section on interviews has been created, one on the Saints of the Day, and one on the quarterly magazine. New features include, for example, the home page, banners to access the web pages of the Vatican Museums, the Pharmacy and the Specola. The general navigation has also been improved with improved usability from mobile devices.

The quarterly magazine, available in four languages (Italian, English, Spanish and French), will be a useful tool to access information on the multifaceted structure of the Governorate, which is not only an institution, but a community of people at the service of the Successor of Peter.

Among the new changes is the creation of the institutional account, Governatorato SCV, on social media networks X (Twitter) and Instagram.

The hope is that the new website, the quarterly magazine and the social network accounts will be a reflection of the Governorate of Vatican City State, an instrument to connect it to the wider world, and that they will convey the ever new message of the Gospel, which is also fulfilled in the daily human and professional efforts of those who work and serve in the smallest State in the world.
