Two new ambulances for the Directorate of Health and Hygiene

With little more than a month to go to the opening of Jubilee 2025, the Directorate of Health and Hygiene is preparing to receive the influx of pilgrims, by maximizing its capacity to intervene and assist the many faithful who will pass through the Holy Door. As part of these preparations, two new ambulances have been donated to the Directorate, by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and by the Futuro Salute ETS Per Nuovi Modelli di Welfare Foundation.

The official donation will take place on Friday morning, 22 November, in the Palace of the Governorate, in the presence of Cardinal Fernando Vérgez Alzaga, Sr. Raffaella Petrini and Mr. Giuseppe Puglisi-Alibrandi, respectively, President, Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General of the Governorate of Vatican City State, Professor Andrea Arcangeli, Director of the Directorate of Health and Hygiene, and Dr, Luigi Carbone, Deputy Director of the Directorate.

The delegation of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta will be led by Grand Master Fra’ John T. Dunlap, while the Foundation will be represented by its President, Mr. Roberto Favaretto.
