Del 19 al 21 de septiembre se celebró en Ottawa, Canadá, el encuentro internacional anual de los responsables de los Capítulos de los Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums. En representación del Vaticano se hallaba una Delegación, encabezada por Sor Raffaella Petrini, Presidenta de la Gobernación del Estado de la Ciudad del Vaticano, y por el abogado Giuseppe Puglisi-Albrandi, Secretario General, junto con una representación de la Dirección de Museos y Bienes Culturales, de la Oficina de Relaciones con los Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museums y de la Oficina de Personal.

Dal 19 al 21 settembre si è svolto a Ottawa, in Canada, l'incontro internazionale annuale dei responsabili dei Capitoli dei Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums. In rappresentanza del Vaticano c'era una Delegazione, guidata da Sr. Raffaella Petrini, Presidente del Governatorato dello Stato della Città del Vaticano, e dall’avvocato Giuseppe Puglisi-Albrandi, Segretario Generale, con una rappresentanza della Direzione dei Musei e dei Beni Culturali, dell'Ufficio Relazioni con i Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museums e dell’Ufficio del Personale.

Une mission au service de l’art et de la foi

Il ne s’agit pas seulement d’une simple contribution, mais d’une véritable mission pour les Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums. Offrir la possibilité de restaurer, récupérer, conserver et perpétuer l’intégrité des œuvres d’art conservées dans les Musées du Vatican est un défi et un choix de vie qui engage chaque donateur individuellement. C’est le cas des membres du Chapitre de Floride des Patrons, qui ont récemment contribué à la restauration des douze statues et des deux sarcophages romains exposés dans les niches de l’Atrium des Quatre Grilles. A Mission in Service of Art and Faith

More than a simple contribution, the mission of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums is a true vocation. Providing the opportunity to restore, recover, preserve, and perpetuate the integrity of the artworks housed in the Vatican Museums is both a challenge and a life choice that involves each and every donor personally. This is certainly the case for the members of the Florida Chapter of the Patrons, who recently contributed to the restoration of twelve Roman statues and two sarcophagi displayed in the niches of the Atrium of the Quattro Cancelli. Le Vatican était représenté par une délégation conduite par Sœur Raffaella Petrini, Présidente du Gouvernorat de l’État de la Cité du Vatican, et par l’avocat Giuseppe Puglisi-Albrandi, Secrétaire Général, avec une représentation de la Direction des Musées et des Biens culturels, du Bureau des Relations avec les Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museums et du Bureau du Personnel.

Responding to times of transition while planning for the future

The annual International Meeting of Chapter Leaders of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums took place in Ottawa, Canada, from September 19 to 21. The delegation from Vatican City was led by Sr. Rafaella Petrini, President of the Governorate and Giuseppe Puglisi-Albrandi, Secretary General. Among other officials, Mons. Terence Hogan, Coordinator of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums also attended.
